HUGHES CONCRETE LIMITED began manufacturing precast concrete pipes and manholes in 1969. Since then this family-owned company has developed the business with innovative thought and planning.

An ongoing investment programme has ensured that the Hughes works contains some of the most advanced manufacturing plant in the United Kingdom with an annual capacity of over 65,000 tonnes. More than £2.5m has been spent on recent projects demonstrating a commitment to product quality, plant efficiency and product development.

HUGHES CONCRETE currently supplies nearly 10% of the MANHOLES, CONCRETE PIPES (up to DN1200) and ROAD GULLIES used in Britain from its manufacturing base at Leek, Staffordshire.
