Manufactured and Kitemarked to BS EN 13101

Plastic encapsulated mild steel double pattern for DN1050 and above, fitted at 250mm spacings (i.e. 4 per metre depth).

LIFTING HOLES

Lifting holes are provided in chamber rings to assist handling.
Units up to DN1800 - 3 x 35mm holes
DN2100 to DN2400 - 3 x 40mm holes
DN2700 to DN3000 - 4 x 40mm holes

Lifting Chains and Eye Bolts available to purchase.

TOKSTRIP

Manholes units may be sealed against water ingress by using a proprietary rubber bitumen sealing strip such as 'Tokstrip'. The following table details the recommended size for each manhole. Hughes maintain stocks of the sizes detailed.
