Manufactured and Kitemarked to BS EN 1917:2002 and BS 5911:2002

A reinforced precast concrete unit designed to replace engineering bricks where detailed as regulating courses on the concrete cover, onto which a cast or ductile iron manhole cover and frame can be seated.
The following patterns are available from stock:

CENTRAL ACCESS Seating Rings - ADJUSTING UNITS (Also referred to as TYPE 2 Units)

ECCENTRIC ACCESS Seating Rings - CORBEL UNITS (Also referred to as TYPE 1 Units).

TYPE 2 - 600x600mm or 675x675mm Central Access - Kitemarked. (1050 Dia. - weight 70kgs each).
 

TYPE 1 - 600x600mm Eccentric Access - Kitemarked. Load bearing slab. (1180x1130mm weight - 120kgs each).

This seating ring is designed to sit over the 750x600mm access hole. Used one way round the seating ring is suitable for use with manholes with double steps and when swivelled through 180° is suitable for a ladder access.

NB. All sizes are 67mm deep.
